Magpie sculpture

I have created a Maggie sculptures using wire, soluble fabrics and threads.
The Magpie is inspired by stage seven of the Maggie rhyme "seven a secret never to be told". Hidden in the Maggie is silver objects and words making up the seventh stage.

As part of a short course iv been doing called NICE i had the opportunity to set up my own exhibition. Strand exhibition is part of the leadership section for gold arts award.

Would Middlesbrough / North East England benefit from a permanent exhibition space dedicated to early stage artist and art graduates?

Iv been experimenting with threads and using them as main elements to my work. In this pieces of work I have used red threads to indicate blood from the lions mouth.
